Welcome to our wedding website
We are super excited to celebrate our wedding with family and friends in Bali, by the beach.
This is where you'll find all the fresh details, staying up to date about our wedding including important Hotel, Transportation and Things To Do in Bali.
THAT "SEMMA" STORY
Sanjay and Emma's "Love Story" is a beautiful tale of two people from opposite sides of the world who found each other in the most unexpected place.
It all started in Mount Gambier, a pretty town in Australia, where they worked together and fell in love over post-work pub meets, walks around the famous blue lake, and cozy dinners in quaint restaurants.
As fate would have it, they moved to the Sunshine Coast where they worked as GPs and took their relationship to the next level when Sanjay finally proposed Emma with a ring in hand. Despite their different backgrounds, Sanjay from Chennai, India and Emma from Tring, UK, their relationship proves that love knows no boundaries.

Tips
The Nusa Dua Beach hotel (there is a nusa dua hotel so make sure you book the right one)is only 30mins from the airport. It is situated on a beautiful beach and has stunning swimming pools for everyone to enjoy.
A short stroll along the beach is a shopping and restaurant area (bali collection, shopping mail)
Nusa Dua is located in the quiet area of Bali but Kuta and Seminyak are only 10-20mins taxi ride away. Bali traffic can be bad so avoid peak times.
Bali has supermarkets and pharmacies etc that are well stocked if you forget anything.
Getting around is easy you can use the ‘Grab’ app which is Indonesian uber – pay with cash.
All business in Bali use whatsapp, we know some local tour operators you can use or you can book through the hotel. Please remember to tip.
Currency – best to order some IDR before you come to Bali then get cash out while you are here – lots of cash machines. There are ones at the airport after arrivals or you can ask your taxi to stop at one on the way from the airport to the hotel.
Avoid currency exchanges as it is fraught with scamming as everyone easily gets confused with all the 0s.
Local prices of things:
Transfer to the airport to the hotel = 300,000 IDR
Whole day car rents with driver (excluding tip) = 600,000 IDR
Bingtang Beer = 20,000 – 50,000 IDR
The local wine ‘two islands’ uses Australia grapes therefore it is good but more expensive than beer
Please bring spirits from duty free 2.25 litres per person (over 18 years) because foreign alcohol is heavily taxed in Indonesia – please remember that some airport do not let you transit with duty-free alcohol (check when buying)
